Is this a sneak peek of a future Sidekick release or is it a hoax?

Danger, makers of the Sidekick, was acquired earlier this year by Microsoft.  So this rumor does make a little bit of sense.

Once an official release date is made, Huey & Earl will be accepting donations to replace Politics owner Derek’s cell phone, the Motorola RAZR.

Update – It was a hoax.
