Look how freaking sexy this TV is. When I buy my new house, (hopefully sooner rather than later), I hope I can make this the centerpiece of my home theater. Via.

Hypebeast found and pointed out this SUPER sick lamp. This is the kind of stuff that really makes me happy to see.
I have been looking for a turn of the century Phonograph (or Victrola) for some time. I would prefer one with a horn, but I also like the ones with the cabinets. Anyway, this is a super cool creation from Matt Richmond. Too bad this freaking thing sold out in December. Either way, super cool. More pics after the jump.
I totally love this dude. Just look at his stuff. It’s for sale on his website. Lots of pics after the wha-who!
So, this chair is made of 10,000 drinking straws. Apparently this project started about with the artist checkin’ out some microscope slides. Pretty sick if you ask me. Thanks Scott Jarvie.
Ania Wagner Design’s Barnacle Chair looks kind of like a barnacle, but also gives a nod to nature with its’ materials: sustainably harvested ash, reclaimed industrial felt. More info after the flop.

Designed by Cédric Ragot of “designed byitem” for Innermost
Mantel Dome is a modern rendition of the venerable carriage clock. The futuristic zinc die cast construction topped by a blown glass dome is the first product of a collaboration between Cédric Ragot, of creative trio “designedbyitem”, and Innermost. It is being launched in black or white powder coat and other finishes are planned in the near future.
Probably the sickest calendar I’ve had since the one made out of children’s genitals and cancer patient’s former hair. God I love it.

This has got to be one of the neatest pieces of home decor I’ve seen to date. It’s built to act as a couch, a sculpture and a functional dipza-doozle wiggle stomper. Visit German designer COR to add it to your 500 sq ft apartment, you bum.

Ok, so I’m on a furniture kick…who cares? It’s a nice break from shoes and tshirts…I just think design flows easily from the canvas to the floor plan of a home and just as easily to the furniture in that floor plan. So, with that said, this $899 desk from EB Peters.
