Hey there! Hopefully you have already noticed, but in case you haven’t, I would like to point out a few changes we have made recently to SOON. First, notice at the top of this page there is a rotating flash banner. This banner will serve the purpose of highlighting our “Featured Posts”. These posts will be important topics, exclusive interviews or otherwise just something we think you should really know about.
Read on to find out about all the awesome changes we’ve made.
Ok, so I may have taken they day off, but it was for great reason! First, I woke up early and tried to think of every reason I could to convince my wife why we shouldn’t go to church today…didn’t work. Second, we went to my best bud’s kid’s first birthday. Unfortunately, since we lost the invitation we didn’t realize the party started at noon and showed up at 3. Thirdly, we stopped off at a bud’s house to “visit” when I secretly knew some serious water volleyball was going to be happening.
Now, we actually have started the WVLA, the Water Volleyball League of America. We’re freaking great. We all have special moves and we power up and then get to use ‘em. But you get penalized if you use your special move prior to then. Everyone has to agree when you’re charged up (usually your hair begins to glow). My friend Sam, aka @fumblor on twitter,has a special move where he does something really funny (like pulling down the net and then falling into the ball with his face) and then he stays submerged for about a minute. My other friend Matt, aka @bobnotblob on twitter, actually grows his arm an extra 2 feet and reaches over the net and spikes your set. It’s awesome. My special move, @danegerousds on twitter, is taking off my trunks and standing awkwardly at the net. I’m 6’4″, so my gens are usually right above sea level. Works like a charm.
So, anyway, I was 4:1 today, it was a great day. I celebrated with 2 volcano burritos and a specially made volcano crunch wrap supreme…not such a great idea. So, that’swhy I was AWOL today…in case you cared. And yes, that is an accurate depiction of the amount of vigor I play with…

So, here it is! This is the new look that we will be going with for a while now. We will continue to adjust some settings and change things around a bit, but this is the new look we’re feeling. This allows us more wiggle room and it’s more custom for our application.
You will notice that the posts now have header images, this serves a few purposes. First, it allows us to keep a smooth, organized flow of the website. Secondly, it allows us to get an idea across quickly without taking up tons of space. That way you can navigate the website without having to scroll for a year.
In addition to the header images, we will be using the “continue reading” buttons a lot more. This will allow us to add more content without clogging up space and bandwidth. We aim to increase the valuable content provided on the site, and that means needing more space. Both the smaller images and the jump link will allow for this smooth operation.
