Sneaker Politics sent us a sneak peek of the Nike Lunar Racer Vengeance (429464-100) White/Dark Grey-Neutral Grey-Black – Spring 2011 Collection

Nike Lunar Race Vengeance is a modern interpretation of the Nike Vengeance. Lightweight construction of the shoe is base on original Air Vengeance design. Lunarlon foam is used for premium cushioning while the outsole features rubber for traction with the surface. Lunar Race Vengeance is a lightweight runner taking its inspiration straight from the 80’s design through contemporary construction methods, though. The colorway mixes Red and Grey accents. The shoe will drop in February.

We just got word that these Scottie Pippen’s will be popping up at select Nike Sportswear retailers this week. I talked to the guys at Politics (lafayette store) today and they will be getting them and taking phone orders. All red shoes do really well in Louisiana and they were excited about the release.

Jordan VII For the Love of the Game

Thanks to a completely unexpected move by Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan VII “Olympic” is coming back, but in a special (and big) way. Changing the classic a bit to coincide with the “For the love of the game” collection that’s set to hit shelves around the kickoff of the World Basketball Festival, JB has placed a gold heart and basketball logo near the heel.

Aside from that slight change, this 2010 version of the sought-after retro looks to be identical to its most previously released version. Don’t be surprised if Jordan athletes Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul wear these on and/or off the court during the FIBA World Championships later this year. A limited supply is expected to release to the public, on August 13, 2010.
